As of 6/18/22 the CDC has accepted the recommendation of the ACIP that children 6 months and older be vaccinated against COVID-19!
We currently cannot offer the vaccine in our office due to staffing and the logistics of vaccine administration/scheduling. We will continue to reevaluate the situation and will let you know if anything changes.
Vaccines will be available at Children’s Mercy (childrensmercy.org/covid-vaccine or 816-302-6300), Johnson County Health dept (walk ins), drug store or grocery store pharmacies. You can find where vaccines will be available likely starting 6/21 at www.vaccines.gov. We will post updates as they come. Thank you for your patience. We are doing all we can to keep down wait times for all types of appointments and phone calls.
