My child is covered under an HMO insurance plan. Is there anything I need to know about becoming a patient at Premier Pediatrics?
You will need to contact your insurance company and change your child’s primary care physician to either Dr. Todd Bush, Dr. Deborah Winburn-Antovoni or Dr. Sarah Jensen. This must be done prior to being seen in our office to ensure that your insurance covers the visit.
HMO Insurances and Walk-In Clinic: Patients who are members of our practice and have HMO insurances are welcome to use our walk-in clinic at anytime. However, if your child is not a member of our practice, please note that we are not considered an urgent care clinic under the HMO guidelines. You will need to see your child’s primary care provider or another provider approved by your insurance company.
My child is covered under an HMO insurance plan. Will his/her appointment be covered if they see a nurse practitioner?
Yes, as long as your insurance has either Dr. Todd Bush, Dr. Deborah Winburn-Antovoni or Dr. Sarah Jensen designated as your primary care physician, your child may be seen by any provider at our office.
